What Is a Liquid Facelift?
A “liquid facelift” or “liquid lift” refers to a non-surgical facial rejuvenation procedure that combines BOTOX® Cosmetic or Dysport® with facial fillers. This achieves a non-surgical rejuvenated look to address wrinkles and visible signs of aging.
Am I an Ideal Candidate for a Liquid Facelift?
If you are considering a less invasive procedure for reducing the appearance of wrinkles and sagging on your face, you may be a good candidate for a liquid facelift. If you want to plump your lips or reduce under-eye bags, dermal filler injections may be recommended for you.
You are an ideal candidate if you do not have extreme sagging or deep wrinkles. You should have a positive outlook and realistic expectations before undergoing any treatments. You must not be allergic to any of the ingredients of the injectable products.
A physical examination of your target areas will be performed during your consultation at Laser Esthetica. This step is important for determining which dermal fillers are best for you, as well as for formulating your treatment plan. You will need to talk about your medical history, especially allergies, underlying conditions, and current medications.
For three years now, Dr. Prasad has been performing liquid face lift miracles for me. She has given me the confidence to feel good about how I look. With the liquid face lift, Dr. Prasad can shave 5 to 10 years off your chronological years. For me that has been important. I highly recommend a consultation and maybe a certain procedure could be perfect for you. – Liquid Facelift
The Liquid Facelift Procedure
A liquid facelift starts with cleansing the target areas. Anesthesia is not usually necessary, but you may request it if you are sensitive to pain. Certain fillers also contain local anesthesia.
Injection sites are then marked. The chosen injectables are strategically injected into your skin, delivering just the right amount of each product to achieve a natural look.
Nalini G. Prasad, MD has performed over 8,000 non-surgical facial contouring procedures using advanced injection techniques with liquid facelift products such as Juvederm®, Sculptra® Aesthetic, Radiesse®, and a variety of other advanced dermal fillers in combination with BOTOX® and Dysport®.
Recovery and Aftercare
After your session, you may be able to go back to your normal routine after a short downtime or recovery period. You may experience bruising, swelling, or redness on the target areas, but these should resolve within a couple of days.
You may feel some hardness or lumps on the injection sites. These should disappear after several days. If you experience any allergic reactions, you should call us right away.
The Cost of a Liquid Facelift
The cost of a liquid facelift varies from patient to patient since it is a highly individualized procedure. The overall price will depend on the dermal fillers used, the number of injections done, and any additional touch-up sessions.
